Vancouver whydunit Motive, starring Kristin Lehman and Louis Ferreira as detectives, is expected to start filming its second season here on September 3rd. Renewed by CTV for 13 more episodes last May, the procedural-with-a-twist is finishing off a summer run on American network ABC this month. There is no word yet on whether Motive will be renewed in the U.S. The season finale — The One That Got Away — is scheduled for Thursday, August 31st there and features Amanda Tapping in a sexy role as a psychiatrist with a crime scene filmed in Yaletown’s David Lam Park.
