SHOOT: FALLING SKIES Films at the Chinese Cultural Centre & Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden

Falling Skies crew painted an exterior wall of the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden robin-egg blue a few weeks ago in preparation for three days of season 4 filming  — Tuesday to Thursday — this week. You could see the set inside the Chinese Cultural Centre inner courtyard until crew draped black curtains across the Pender Street entrance for the shoot. More of the Falling Skies filming takes place inside Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Park, one of the world’s top city gardens. Although some members of 2nd Mass (small band of resistance fighters named after the 2nd Massachusetts of the American Revolution) were spotted on set yesterday it’s not known where they are supposed to be. It could be China but you never know with this twisty alien invasion saga.
