- Sunday, September 1st – Cedar Cove 1×08 Help Wanted airs on the W network. An ex-con Olivia (Andie MacDowell) sentenced comes to Cedar Cove to find work. When the harbour pergola catches fire he is blamed until Brendan Meyer’s character takes responsibility for it. Most of the episode filmed in Fort Langley and North Vancouver’s Deep Cove.

- Friday, August 30th – Tomorrowland mayor Hugh Laurie films Tomorrowland scene with Raffey Cassidy and 300 extras on Walt Disney “it’s a small world” set in H.R. MacMillan Space Centre parking lot. Earlier, the 300 extras had a spontaneous Dance Party while waiting for the sun to come out.

- Friday, August 30th – Vancouver-cop-from-the-future series Continuum season two finale Second Time airs on Syfy in the U.S. Kiera (Rachel Nichols) races to stop Alec (Erik Knudsen) from making a decision which could end her chance of getting home to 2077. She fails.
