Political spoof The Interview had a wild night at the Vancouver Art Gallery last night with Seth Rogen and James Franco on set and Halloween costumed partiers moonwalking backwards into shots and calling out, “Hey Seth I’m an extra. Where’s my money?” Spectators came and went throughout the evening, stopping for a bit to watch and to ask who was filming. And goodness knows what was happening in the scene, except it kept cracking up both actors, especially the moment when Franco dropped to his knees and hugged the standing Rogen around the legs. See for yourself.
The scene: Skylark Tonight talk show host (James Franco) and his producer (Seth Rogen) do a walk-and-talk east across the north plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery dressed as New York through Marley Coffee BikeCaffe carts and backgrounders and past New York newspaper boxes, including Gay News, as prop yellow New York cabs circle the block. Somehow this pair get entangled in a plot to kill [North Korean leader Kim Jon-Un]. Between setups last night the real-life pals sat in a black SUV on the plaza to warm up for the next long takes.
