Political spoof The Interview took over The Ascot Lounge in downtown Vancouver overnight for scenes of guests arriving by limousine at the rear and then enjoying some kind of tribute/roast inside. It’s another New York scene in this film about a hotshot Manhattan talk-show host (James Franco) and his producer (Seth Rogen), who somehow get entangled in a plot to kill the [North Korean leader Kim Jon-Un]. How does that happen? Blame Lizzy Caplan’s femme fatale CIA agent, who seduces Franco’s New York broadcaster into the assassination plot.
Seth Rogen is a triple threat in this movie: producing and co-directing The Interview with childhood friend and longtime collaborator Evan Goldberg as well as starring in it with fellow Freaks & Geeks alumni James Franco and Lizzy Caplan.

Tonight The Interview shoots inside CBC Vancouver overnight and for the next two nights. Could CBC be playing the New York talk-show set ?
