Gastown at night makes a romantic film set. Almost two years ago, Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson) kissed and spun round Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) on Alexander Street for TV series Fringe. And last night Nick (Mike Vogel) kissed someone on Powell Street for Hallmark TV movie In My Dreams.
You can see the headlights of halted traffic so that the pair could be filmed walking across the street.

Vogel starred in the summer hit Under the Dome as “Barbie” and memorably romanced/duped Norma Bates as Deputy Zach Shelby on last season’s Bates Motel.
In My Dreams began filming last Tuesday at the Capilano Suspension Bridge, instagrammed by Katherine McPhee who plays the young restaurant owner Natalie.
And then spent three days filming in Gastown at 110 East Cordova Street. Production returned to Gastown Monday for interior scenes in one of the Koret Lofts on Cordova (where Once Upon a Time filmed NYC scenes the week before) and then last night’s exterior of the steadi-cam stroll on Powell Street.
