Political spoof The Interview turned Robson Square into North Korea overnight for a scene of Skylark Tonight talk show host (James Franco) roughhousing with his producer (Seth Rogen) by a statue of North Korea’s Kim Jon-un. This doesn’t go over well with a North Korean soldier. Somehow these Manhattan media elites get entangled in a plot to kill [the North Korean leader]. How does that happen? Blame Lizzy Caplan’s femme fatale CIA agent, who seduces Franco’s New York talk show host into the assassination plot.

People flocked to Robson Street to watch the shoot and a CTV cameraman filmed me taking a photo of the scene. Already people’s twitpics and instagrams are flooding Twitter. BFFs Seth Rogen and James Franco know how to promote a movie. Just look at their parody of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s naked on a motorcycle music video Bound.
