SHOOT: THE TOMORROW PEOPLE Film Sequence Near Victory Square

One day after Monday’s news that we can look forward to a full first season of sci-fi series The Tomorrow People filming in Vancouver, production set up a big shoot near Victory Square with many moving parts. Based on a 70s show, The Tomorrow People tells the story of a group of young people who represent the next stage in human evolution. High school student Stephen Jameson (Robbie Amell) discovers others like him who have special powers they call the “three T’s” — telepathy, teleportation and telekinesis – people like Cara (Peyton List), John (Luke Mitchell)  and Russell (Aaron Yoo). But a paramilitary group of scientists called Ultra  led by Stephens uncle Dr. Jedikiah Price (Mark Pellegrino) are using their own kind to hunt them down. Stephen goes undercover at Ultra in hopes of protecting those like him and discovering what happened to his father, the most powerful of The Tomorrow People who disappeared years before.

I caught an early part of the sequence outside the Victory Food Market before production moved into Arch Alley and then down to the Woodwards Development complex.
