It’s Not Easy Being Green: What is the Wicked Witch (Rebecca Mader without her green face paint) doing in Storybrooke? And believe it or not, this isn’t the biggest spoiler of last night’s overnight shoot. Mario Van Peebles is directing Once Upon a Time 3×16 It’s Not Easy Being Green so this was his big technocrane scene of the witch and a crowd of Storybrooke townspeople, filmed in the intersection of Moncton Street and 2nd Avenue in Steveston overnight. Here is Peebles talking through the script with saviour Emma (Jennifer Morrison).
And here are her Dad Charming (Josh Dallas) and Tinkerbell (Rose McIvor),also on a Starbucks break plus Belle (Emilie de Ravin) who was part of the group but not photographed. Regina (Lana Parrilla) showed up later on to the delight of visiting #EvilRegals for the big #TeamEvil vs #TeamWicked showdown.
Among the townspeople, I spotted Granny (Beverley Elliott) but others may have been there.
Fans stretched across 2nd Avenue by the “Storybrooke Free Public Library” to watch the filming from 4 p.m. to 6 a.m., in ever diminishing numbers.
Storybrooke citizens gather in the centre of town.
Mr. Gold’s.
Two French fans brought some sketches of their favourite characters to set.
And it sounds like everyone who stuck it out overnight managed to meet the cast they came to see.
