- Once Upon a Time in Wonderland had “no business being on Thursday night,” admitted ABC entertainment boss Paul Lee about the network’s decision to launch the fledgling drama in the Fall against The Big Bang Theory on the busiest, most competitive night of the week instead of the original plan to make it a bridge between Fall and Spring blocks of Once Upon a Time on Sunday nights. Lee admitted Wonderland would have done better launching now when Once Upon a Time is on hiatus and its fans crave a modern fairy tale series to fill the gap. Wonderland wrapped filming of its first season this week in Vancouver and now waits to hear whether ABC will renew it for a second season. But is the damage done? If cancelled, let’s hope that Alice (Sophie Lowe), her love Cyrus (Peter Gadiot), the Knave of Hearts (Michael Socha), his love the Red Queen (Emma Rigby), the evil villain Jafar (Naveen Andrews) and a certain animated rabbit (voiced by John Lithgow) find their way to either the Enchanted Forest or Storybrooke of the mother show.
- Will we ever see Storybrooke again on Once Upon a Time? Clearly we will since the mother show filmed scenes in Fort Langley dressed as Storybrooke after the Fall Finale when Storybrooke seemingly ceased to exist and the fairy tale characters had returned to the Enchanted Forest. Plus Steveston is scheduled to play Storybrooke this coming week. So are Storybrooke scenes the flashbacks now? Showrunner Adam Horowitz confirmed we will see Storybrooke again but not how, telling TV Line “how and why and what happens there is something we don’t want to spoil.”
- Will we ever see Little Red/Ruby again on Once Upon a Time? Intelligence’s Meghan Ory said she is not gone from Once Upon a Time and laughingly shared some thoughts about her character Ruby/Little Red/Big Bad Wolf if Storybrooke is no more. “Does that mean I never have to wear my booty shorts again? Because that’d be awesome!’ she told TV Line after the CBS Intelligence panel. “That means that if I go back, I get to be Red Riding Hood and wear my cape again, which I love.”
