An epic romance about a young woman (Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively) born in the early 1900s who is blessed with eternal youth after a near-fatal accident? That’s the Age of Adaline. Our heroine embarks on a solitary, world journey through the 20th century never aging beyond twenty-nine years until she falls in love with a young man (Game of Thrones’s Michiel Huisman) who might be worth losing her immortality to.
Ellen Burstyn plays Adaline’s 80-something daughter. And Harrison Ford (who’s back as Han Solo in J.J. Abrams’s Star Wars sequel) is cast as [an old flame of hers (literally)]. Hopefully more details will become public as Adaline moves into production.
Age of Adaline is expected to start filming in Vancouver on March 10th and wrap May 5th (dates subject to change).
