  • Sunday, March 9th – Canadian Screen Awards gala. Orphan Black wins Best Drama series (Motive nominated). Tatania Maslaney wins Best Female Lead for Orphan Black. Hugh Dillon wins Best Male Lead for Flashpoint.
  • Sunday, March 9th – CW pilot The Flash shuts down Expo Boulevard near Dunsmuir Viaduct and streets leading into it to film Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) crawling out of an overturned car. And then hours later, the huge SPFX explosion of two cars.

  • Sunday, March 8th – TNT casts Jennifer Beals as skeptical surgeon investigating life after death in pilot Proof, expected to start filming March 11th.
  • Saturday, March 8th – Supernatural spinoff renamed Supernatural: Bloodlines and casts Melissa Roxborough as a werewolf in love with a shapeshifter.
  • Saturday, March 8th – Canadian Screen Awards Fan Zone at Toronto Eaton Centre features Motive‘s Brendan Penny and Package Deal‘s Randal Edwards.

  • Wednesday, March 5th – Arrow 2×15 The Promise airs on The CW and CTV. Oliver (Stephen Amell) is stunned when he discovers that Slade (Manu Bennett) is in Starling City in the Queen mansion; back on the island, Sara (Caity Lotz) and Oliver form a plan to deal with Slade’s growing Mirakuru-induced rage. Scene of Slade Wilson, his eye patch and his Lamorghini filmed at UBC’s Cecil Green House as Queen mansion.
  • Wednesday, March 5th – The Tomorrow People 1×15 The Enemy of My Enemy airs on The CW. Caught by Ultra, an angry Julian strikes a potentially deadly deal; John (Luke Mitchell) disobeys orders again and makes a discovery. And this episode marks the end of #AmellWednesdays.
  • Wednesday, March 5th – Psych 8×07 Shawn & Gus Truck Things Up airs on the USA Network. Shawn (James Roday) & Gus (Dule Hill) take over operation of a food truck after the owner is murdered. Marlowe (Kristy Swanson) gives birth there.
  • Wednesday, March 5th – Second  night of Canadian Screen Awards with awards for drama, comedy and children’s programming. Orphan Black and Degrassi dominate their categories over Continuum nominee Luvia Pedersen and Mr. Young and Mr. Young nominee Brendan Meyers. And Vikings won best VFX over Continuum and Primeval: New World.
  • Wednesday, March 5th – The Killing films Joan Allen inspecting cadets at UBC’s CHEM building playing St. George’s military academy.

  • Tuesday, March 4th – Supernatural 9×15 Thinman airs on The CW. The Ghostfacers are back after five seasons to investigate a Selfie of dead teenager which reveals a ghostly figure in the background, joined by estranged brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) & Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester.
  • Tuesday, March 4th – Arctic Air 3×07 airs on CBC. Caitlin (Tanaya Beatty)’s first solo flight goes terribly wrong and Bobby (Adam Beach)  and Loreen (Carmen Moore) race to save her.
  • Tuesday, March 4th – First night of Canadian Screen Awards with awards for news, sports, documentary and other non-fiction. Continuum wins cross-platform. Marketplace‘s Erica Johnson nominated but doesn’t win.
  • Tuesday, March 4th –  Once Upon a Time films at Storybrooke Hospital, aka the former Lynn Valley public library in North Vancouver.
  • Tuesday, March 4th – ABC pilot Sea of Fire films Jack Davenport cycling to his house near Queens Park in New Westminster.

  • Tuesday, March 4th – Night at the Museum 3‘s Ricky Gervais leaves and Dan Stevens arrives in Vancouver.
  • Tuesday, March 4th – The Tomorrow People casts  “Hunger Games” tribute Leven Rambin as special-powered Natalie who doesn’t like humans much.
  • Tuesday, March 4th – Continuum season 3 poster released.
  • Tuesday, March 4th – Almost Human season finale dips. Bates Motel seasson 2 premiere returns to 3.07 million viewers and a 1.3 demo rating.
  • Monday, March 3rd – Almost Human 1×13 Straw Man , the season one finale. A series of murders are committed by someone copying a serial killer who was put in jail by John Kennex (Karl Urban)’s father. Dorian (Michael Ealy) acts like an MX to get his term renewed. The bromance continues in a sweet ending.

  • Monday, March 3rd – Bates Motel season two premiere 2×01 Gone But Not Forgotten airs on A&E. Norman (Freddie Highmore) fixates on Miss Watson (Keegan Connor Tracy)’s death; Dylan becomes involved in White Pine Bay’s drug war; Bradley (Nicola Peltz) is driven to extremes as she searches for her father’s killer. Big scene on Grover Street in Fort Langley of Norma (Vera Farmiga) talking to Sheriff (Nestor Carbonell).
