The charming townsfolk of Cedar Cove, Washington, are back for a second season premiering last night on the Hallmark Channel in the U.S. and tonight on the W Network in Canada. The Olivia-Jack relationship is at the heart of this small-town saga based on the Debbie Macomber books, with Andie MacDowell as Judge Olivia Lockhart and Dylan Neal as Cedar Cove Chronicle Editor Jack Griffith.

In the premiere Olivia supports the pregnant former girlfriend of Jack’s son Eric at the hospital putting her at odds with Eric. While production shot the series premiere in Victoria on Vancouver Island, every episode since has been filmed in the Vancouver area, with North Vancouver’s Deep Cove and West Vancouver’s Howe Sound doubling as the Cove and Fort Langley as the town.
I’d hoped for a last episode set visit but Andie MacDowell wrapped filming of the second season almost a week ago and the wrap party happened last night. My visit to Cedar Cove will have to wait until season three. Look forward to it.
Cedar Cove is my favorite T.V. Show. Enjoy the beautiful landscape. A place I would love to visit or live.
