In a world on the brink of collapse, two sisters (Ellen Page and Evan Rachel Wood) try to survive in a remote forest fighting intruders, loneliness and starvation. Adapted from Jean Hegland’s novel of the same name and written and directed by Patricia Rozema, this feature film started shooting in the Vancouver area this past Monday. One sister (Ellen Page) was spotted filming on the beach at Squamish this week not in a remote forest, but B.C.’s west coast has plenty of those too.
Ellen Page is a producer on the film.
