ABC’s thriller The Whispers shot scenes of FBI child specialist Claire Bennigan (Lily Rabe) and Defense Department operative Wes Lawrence (Barry Sloane) in Oceanic Plaza as Washington, D.C.’s Independence Plaza this morning in downtown Vancouver. From Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment, which also produces filmed-in-Vancouver Falling Skies and shares some of its crew, this mid-season series is about a mysterious entity which possesses our children to use them against us. Based on a Ray Bradbury short story called Zero Hour, the 13-episode series co-stars Milo Ventimiglia as an often shirtless John Doe/Drew Bennigan — which should please his many fans.
