Hallmark Channel’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered filmed in and around Victory Square as Denver, Colorado, this week. It was my first opportunity to see shooting of this series about four U.S. postal workers who turn detective to reunite dead letters with the people who were meant to receive them. Such reunions can be heartwarming and have featured such TV legends as Carol Burnett, Valerie Harper (Mary Tyler Moore), Marilu Henner (Taxi) and Valerie Bertinelli (One Day At A Time), The scene: postal worker Rita Haywith (Crystal Lowe) in a white furry hat and Special Delivery sash cuts a ribbon with fellow postal detective Norman Dorman (Geoff Gustafson) by her side and team leader Oliver O’Toole (Eric Mabius) and tech whiz Shane McInerney (Kristin Booth) in the crowd. Signed, Sealed, Delivered shot 10 episodes here (including pilot movie) and a Christmas special. Production this week is for another 2-hour movie.
