Who knew a portal to Heaven existed in Ladner’s Harbour Park? Perhaps because it’s only there when Supernatural needs to film scenes of a sigil drawn in a playground sandbox which opens the door to Heaven. On Thursday and Friday nights, crew used their portable sandbox in the park to film angel Castiel (Misha Collins) fighting with someone near it. [Could it have been Metatron?]
I’m starting to think picking up this hitchhiker was a bad idea. (@curtisisbooger) pic.twitter.com/0lKBAEIZx1

Earlier scenes involved Castiel driving what fans call his “pimpmobile” aka #caspimpmobile.

Supernatural’s week began in Yaletown’s Soho Billiards with a Monday and Tuesday shoot, then moved to a New Westminster house on Wednesday and ended with the two night shoots in Ladner’s Harbour Park on Thursday and Friday.
The sigil drawn in sand for season 9.
A season 9 scene of Castiel and Gadreel (Tahmoh Penikett) going up to Heaven.
