Supernatural began filming at St. Andrew’s-Wesley Church last Tuesday morning with a scene of Dean and Sam Winchester (Jensen Ackles & Jared Padalecki) leaving the church and walking down the steps in conversation. That night shoot in the alley next to the church capped three days of filming inside the church.
Who is this tall figure in a green hoodie who falls to his knees and then crumples to the ground? The performer stood on a stunt mat and was filmed from above by a technocrat.
And why does this man in the rust-coloured jacket hit him with a candle stick? It’s interesting where the camera is positioned. It’s possible we may not see this actor’s face on screen either.
Supernatural is back downtown this week filming in Soho Billiards in Yaletown today and tomorrow.
