Once Upon a Time’s Jennifer Morrison calls Vancouver a “home away from home”. She has been filming here since 1993 when she shot Intersection with Richard Gere. And did the pilot for House here too.
I'm having the best time at @FanExpoVan thank you all for coming to visit! I'm here today and tomorrow. Come meet me if you are in town!

Emma Swan?
I really love Emma…identify with her sense of wanting to do the right thing….make hard, right choice…even if it’s something that will cause her pain….like to be as brave as Emma….Emma’s fearless…free of concern of what other people think of her.
Emma’s difficult past?
Read countless memoirs [of those who] went through foster system…systematically built a life of memories…cycles of abuse…abandonment…almost love..almost support…losing them….not my personal stories…someone’s personal stories…emma most shut down..unable to be vulnerable…reading all those books back to back…I can’t imagine accidentally hurting a child [far less] intentionally.

Emma’s men?
Soft spot for all of them….so lucky with all the men they’ve hired [to romance Emma]….wonderful experience…Jamie Dornan….Mikey [Michael Raymond-James]…brought fresh energy…Emma’s first love….August [Eion Bailey].just a friend…but he’s hot too….Colin [O’Donoghue]….see Colin 16 hours a day….[creators] found people I have natural chemistry with..appreciate my friendships with these men.
Favourite season?
Liked Neverland…..all join together to fight a villain….enjoyed Frozen arc as well…..creators [Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz] did an incredible job incorporating those characters.
Most Difficult?
Some of the physical stuff we do over and over again….sword fight for 3 days…36 hours….[ends up] 3 minutes on screen….[Wednesday’s overnight shoot in Steveston]…:really cold…industrial strength fans….adrenaline keeps you going…wake up next morning…not sure if you’re going to ever be able to walk again…16 hours a day…takes endurance…you have to push through it.
Emotional state…keep in that state…12 hours of crying….stuff feels hard…that’s the payoff…having accomplished it…having connection with other actors.
Closest relationship with cast?
We’re all close…Ginny [Goodwin] and I were friends before show…four or five years before show….Rose McIver became a very good friend…we were roommates for a while.
Which villain would you like to play?
[Spoiler Alert]: can’t tell you…for a very good reason.
