Marti Noxon’s dramedy UnReal is about a Bachelor-esqe dating show called Everlasting where producer Rachel Goldberg (Shiri Appleby)’s job is to amp up the drama by manipulating the female contestants and provoking the outrageous footage demanded by the executive producer Quinn King (Constance Zimmer). At the centre of the show-within-a-show is bachelor Adam Cromwell (Freddie Stroma).
SXSW got a sneak peek at the premiere in mid-March and UnReal had a big role to play at the A+E Networks Upfront today.
UnReal filmed in and around Vancouver, with an extensive shoot at a Surrey mansion as the House.
It premieres June 1st on Lifetime in the U.S and Canada.
