Alternate history? Nazis took over a downtown Vancouver office tower at suppertime today when Amazon Prime’s The Man in the High Castle shot scenes for its series based on Philip K. Dick’s award-winning novel about what America would be like if the Germans and the Japanese won WWII. Set in 1962 and produced by Ridley Scott and Frank Spotnitz (The X-Files), the 10-episode series stars Rufus Sewell as SS Obergruppenführer John Smith and Alexa Davalos as Juliana Crain. Other cast includes Rupert Evans, Luke Kleintank and DJ Qualls.
John Smith (Rufus Sewell) looks a little bloodied compared to his commanding presence in the pilot filmed in Seattle and Roswell, Washington.
