Upfront Update: DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will premiere next year on The CW as part of the Arrow-Flash universe with crossovers between all the three shows.
In the upcoming new CW series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Doctor Who’s Arthur Darvill plays time-travelling rogue Rip Hunter who tries to prevent an unstoppable threat in the future — one that puts the planet and time itself at risk. Hunter assembles a ragtag team of DC super heroes and villains – Victor Garber as Dr. Martin Stein, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/ the A.T.O.M,  Caity Lotz as the [White Canary], Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heatwave, Ciarra Renee as Hawkgirl and Franz Drameh as Jay Jackson — to stop it. Most of the Arrow and The Flash spinoff cast flew into Vancouver last month to film atop the Simon Fraser University Business School downtown. Â
