iZombie will be back in Vancouver to film a second season of zombie Liv (Rose McIver) kicking ass and taking BRAAAINS this summer. It’s as funny as we’d hoped a series from Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas would be. iZombie is about the now white-haired, white-faced former medical-resident-turned-zombie who eats the BRAAAINS of murder victims, gains their memories and some of their traits to solve their deaths, with the help of medical examiner Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti (Rahul Kohli) and Seattle homicide detective Clive Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin). Liv broke her engagement to Major Lilywhite (Robert Buckley) after the big change and recently hooked up with fellow zombie Lowell (Merlin’s Bradley James) — but he might be connected with Big Bad Blaine (David Anders) and the nefarious Meet Cute Charcuterie (Big Lou’s Butcher Shop in the Downtown Eastside). Uh-oh.
