Medical mystery drama Proof premieres on TNT tonight after Rizzoli & Isles. And debuts on Bravo Canada on June 24th.
Produced by Kyra Sedgewick and filmed in metro Vancovuer, Proof is a 10-episode drama series about surgeon Dr. Carolyn Tyler (Jennifer Beals) at the Bay Vista Medical Center (Vancouver Public Library as exterior) who’s asked by a dying tech billionaire (Matthew Modine) to investigate cases of reincarnation and hauntings for proof. Despite her son’s tragic death and her own after-death experience she remains Scully-skeptical and reliant on hard science when it comes to answering the question — is there something beyond death?
Joe Morton (Scandal’s Papa Pope) is the tough chief of staff at Bay Vista Medical Center; Edi Gathegi is the Sudanese hospital intern who helps find proof of life after death; and David Sutcliffe is Dr. Carolyn Tyler’s estranged husband.
