SHOOT: THE FLASH’s Central City Christmas at Vancouver’s Robson Square with Grant Gustin, Liam McIntyre & Mark Hamill

Is the Trickster the Grinch wo will steal Central City’s Christmas? The Flash spent the last few days turning downtown Vancouver’s Robson Square into a Christmas wonderland for the overnight shoot. Filming started late this afternoon with The Trickster (Mark Hamill) disguised as Santa Claus meeting Central City kids. And then the big one after dark: The Flash (Grant Gustin) versus the Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre) and The Trickster as Santa Claus in the background. Spectators watched from Robson Street — taking endless selfies against the twinkly backdrop. We could hear snatches of the dialogue and got to see Gustin dancing like a Magic Mike stripper between takes.

The Flash gave crew brand new red caps with yellow bolts of lightning. You can see one in photo below.

After Grant Gustin was out of costume, he met with fans.

And the final scene of the night took place on Robson Street next to the CCJitters coffee cart.
