That’s Greg Kinnear in Gastown today filming his directorial debut Phil: A Tale of Flossing and Plumbing. Kinnear (an Oscar nominee for As Good As it Gets) stars in the film as a dentist named Phil who pretends to be a Greek plumber after a patient dies in his dental chair. His plumber ruse gets him inside the dead patient’s family where he falls for the widow played by Emily Mortimer. Today’s sequence of Phil parking his Audi suggests this is Phil pre-plumbing ruse.
Vancouver’s own Bron Studios is producing the film which started filming in metro Vancouver on November 9th and is expected to wrap December 18th according to the DGC-BC list.
