What if the Devil decided to quit …. and moved to the City of Angels.

Lately upcoming FOX series Lucifer has shot on location in ridiculous rain, even for Vancouver.  Last night it was too chilly for UBC’s Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre to play a Los Angeles Sports Agency but you can’t tell except for the retreat inside between takes and warm coats worn in rehearsal.

The Devil is no Angel. Based on the characters from DC Entertainment’s Vertigo, Lucifer has  decamped from boring, old Hell to a more exciting life in Los Angeles as the owner of upscale night club Lux — until someone is gunned down in front of him and he starts helping the Los Angeles Police Department to catch sinners. 6′ 3″ Welshman Tom Ellis is the charming Devil who goes by the moniker Lucifer Morningstar and Lauren German is L.A.P.D. homicide detective Chloe Decker. From Warner Bros TV and Jerry Bruckheimer TV , Lucifer started shooting its series here in mid-August.

  1. A nice start in which I will continue to watch until it runs out of steam. And why do they always make female police officers look like they just stepped out of a modeling agency?
