Enterprise crashes.
Star Trek Beyond filmed in and around Vancouver last summer and into the Fall with director Justin Lin and the Enterprise crew — Captain Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto), Bones (Karl Urban), Uhura (Zoe Saldana), Sulu (John Cho), Chekov (Anton Yeltin) and Scotty (Simon Pegg) plus new alien villain Krall (Idris Elba), undisclosed Villain #2 (Joe Taslim) and undisclosed Female (Sofia Boutella).
Production started in Squamish and in studio.
Filmed in Squamish at The Chief.
While crew built a crashed U.S.S.Enterprise set at Kent Hangar field in Vancouver.
And then moved to Pitt River Quarries.
Uhura and Zulu.
