Back to to the Future meets Mission: Impossible.
NBC won the bidding war for Supernatural creator Erik Kripke and The Shield creator Shawn Ryan’s time-travel action-adventure pilot Time.
What’s it about? An unlikely trio travel through time battling criminals to protect history as we know it. Abigail Spencer (Suits/Rectify) was cast today as brilliant history prof Lucy Preston, one of the three recruited by the government for this top secret mission, according to TVLine.

This is big budget. Kripke and Ryan co-wrote the script and Game of Thrones’ Neil Marshall is set to direct the pilot in Vancouver next month.
NEWS! Amazing genre director #NeilMarshall (#GOT, The Descent) is directing our NBC Pilot #Time! I’m a crazy huge fan. @ShawnRyanTV

How big?
That moment when a Production Designer candidate passes on your pilot because they “feel daunted by the scope.” #BiggerAndBetter #Time #NBC

Time is expected to film in metro Vancouver from March 15th to April 4th (dates subject to change), according to the Directors Guild of Canada-BC production list.
