A woman’s imaginary friend helps her transition to life with a man with three kids.
Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg) will be Alice the singleton who turns to an imaginary friend to cope as her life changes, according to Deadline Hollywood. That’s the pitch for The Goldbergs creator Adam F. Goldberg’s new comedy pilot for ABC with the working title Imaginary Mary. A 30-something single woman with an imaginary friend meets her match in a divorced father (Stephen Schneider) with three kids. The childhood friend helps her make the transition from young single to a grown woman ready for a family.
Adam Goldberg is partnering with fellow The Goldbergs executive producer David Guanaco on the project.
Imaginary Mary is expected to film in metro Vancouver from February 27th to March 4th (dates subject to change), according to the Directors Guild of Canada – BC production list.
