The Revenant with even hairier humans? Ice Age survival tale The Solutrean starts filming today at Vancouver’s Kent Hangar field with inflatable green screen walls already up. Set 20,000 years ago in the Upper Paleotithic period of early man, The Solutrean is about a hunting expedition gone wrong and the survivor’s journey home in tough conditions. Kodi Smit-McPhee (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes/X Men: Apocalypse) and Jóhannes Haukur Johannesson star.
