A woman’s imaginary friend helps her transition to life with a man with three kids.
Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg) is Alice the bachelorette who turns to her imaginary friend as her life changes. That’s the pitch for The Goldbergs creator Adam F. Goldberg and David Guaracio’s new comedy pilot for ABC with the working title Imaginary Mary. A 30-something single woman with an imaginary friend meets her match in a divorced father (Stephen Schneider) with three kids. The childhood friend helps her make the transition from young single to a grown woman ready for a family. The title character will be mostly computer-generated.
Imaginary Mary started filming on Saturday, February 27th, at a set inside Central Pacific Station and then moved north to Caffe Brixton as Bar 101 with Jenna Elfman.
Imaginary Mary is back filming at Pacific Central Station on Sunday, February 28th. And in Studio Records on Monday, March 1st and The Bourbon Bar on Wednesday, March 3rd. Sign: PICO.

Member of the Justice League, Crimson Fox. Powerless is a workplace comedy set in the DC Comics universe about Joe Schmoes at an insurance company who dream of their own super powers while they mop up after super heroes and villains. Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical/Grease Live!’s Rizzo) is insurance claims adjuster Emily Locke.

From Supernatural creator Erik Kripke and The Shield creator Shawn Ryan comes time-travelling action-adventure Time. What’s it about? Master criminal Garcia Flynn (Goran Visnjic) has stolen a time machine and travelled back in time to hours before the 1937 Hindenburg disaster with a plan to change history. Matt Lanter, Abigail Spencer (Suits/Rectify) as History Prof Lucy Preston and Malcolm Barrett as engineer Rufus are the trio recruited by the government for a top secret mission to stop Flynn. Paterson Joseph (The Leftovers) is Mason Lark, founder of Lark Industries, who created the time machine.

The surrealism of Riverdale based on the Archie comics characters.
Greg Berlanti and Archie Comics chief creative officer Robert Aguirre-Sacasa will subvert Riverdale’s wholesome image from the comics. In their live-action version, Archie and Jughead are estranged and Betty and Veronica are in cahoots and not rivals for Archie’s affection. Wait what?
Set in present day, Betty Cooper (Lil Reinhart) starts off sweet with a crush on Archie (newcomer KJ Apa) as in the comics but chucks it all after turning to new BFF Veronica (Camila Mendes) for advice. And Jughead (The Suite Life of Zach & Cody’s Cole Sprouse) is the thinking woman’s heartthrob — a Bae — estranged from his former BFF Archie Andrews (Apa). Ashleigh Murray is Josie of Josie & the Pussycats. Madelaine Petsch is Cheryl Blossom. Mädchen Amick is Betty’s Mom Alice Cooper. Peyton List is present-day police detective Raimy Sullivan and Riley Smith is former police detective Frank Sullivan, her estranged father who died in 1996. The unlikely duo work together on an unsolved case. Lenny Jacobson is Raimy’s BFF and next door neighbour Gordo. Supernatural show runner Jeremy Carver’s CW pilot is a re-imagining of the 2000 paranormal film Frequency — whose father-and-son police detectives were played by Dennis Quaid and Jim Caviezel.

DEAD OF SUMMER – Freeform Drama. March 21st to April 8th (dates subject to change).
Once Upon a Time showrunners Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz’s summer camp horror anthology Dead of Summer has started filming in metro Vancouver. For their new Freeform project, the pair recruited Once Upon a Time’s Elizabeth Mitchell (Snow Queen) as Deb, the new owner of Camp Clearwater, and Elizabeth Lail (Anna) as Amy, one of her camp counsellors.

A former camper, Mitchell’s Deb has a darker reason to revive the midwestern summer camp she loved. Lail’s Amy is the first to uncover Clearwater’s deep dark secrets.
Other counsellors at the camp include Eli Goree (The 100), Ronen Rubinstein (Orange is the New Black), Zelda Williams (Teen Wolf), Paulina Singer (Gotham) and Mark Indelicato (Ugly Betty).
Adam Horowitz is directing the pilot of set-in-the-1980s Dead of Summer.
Young lawyer Miranda Coale (The Originals’ Rebecca Breeds) gets a second chance as part of a millennial start-up firm, six years after a sex scandal with a U.S. Senator derailed her life. Jamie Chung, Coleman and Fisher play partners in YLG (Young Law Group). John Gabriel is an ex-YLG attorney who left for money. Katie Lovejoy will write and produce the NBC pilot along with John Glenn.
PRISON BREAK – FOX drama. April 7th to July 12th (dates subject to change).
Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell are currently filming DC’s Legends of Tomorrow in Vancouver. Fox’s straight to series pilot is expected to start shortly after Legends wraps on April 1st.
