CASTING: PRISON BREAK Revival Casts New Inmates Augustus Prew, Rick Yune & Steve Mouzakis

Update: Sarah Wayne Callies and Amaury Nolasco sign deals to return as Sara and Sucre.

This time it’s Lincoln’s turn to break his brother Michael out of prison. Lincoln, Sara, T-Bag, C-Note and Fernando are expected to team up to break Michael out of prison in Yemen, where he’s incarcerated after faking his own death. Prison Break, a FOX series about brothers who take turns trying to break each other out of prison, is filming its 9-episode revival in metro Vancouver this Spring and early Summer. Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell will reprise their roles as brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows.

The pair are currently filming DC’s Legends of Tomorrow in Vancouver and will begin work on Fox’s straight-to-series revival just days after Legends wraps.

Sarah Wayne Callis and Amaury Nolasco will return as Dr. Sarah Tancredo and Sucre.

Robert Knepper and Rockmond Dunbar are still in discussion to return as T-Bag and C-Note, according to Deadline Hollywood.

New inmates include: Whip (Augustus Prew), Korean identity thief Ja (Rick Yune) and nut-job Van Gogh (Steve Mouzakis), according to Deadline Hollywood.

Believing Michael is dead, Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) is raising her & Michael’s child with her new husband Scott Ness (Royal Pains’  Mark Feuerstein).

Prison Break ran for four seasons on FOX from 2005 to 2009.

Season 1 – Michael gets arrested with an escape plan tattooed to his body to break his brother Lincoln out of Fox River Prison.

The Prison Break revival is expected to film in metro Vancouver from April 4th to July 13th (dates subject to change), according to the Directors Guild of Canada – BC Production List.
