Now that’s a rain tower. Some people scoffed at the idea of Fifty Shades Darker using a rain tower to make rain in Rain City aka Vancouver, but you can’t get controlled deluges like this when you need them. Traffic on the West Hastings Street block got a free car wash. All this rain was generated for a few minutes of Ana Steele (Dakota Johnson) in her raincoat with the hood up taking shelter under the awning at the Terminal City Club. Fifty Shades Darker is set in Vancouver’s sister city Seattle.
