Seattle billionaire-with-singular-tastes Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) was outside Vancouver’s The London Pub on Main Street this morning. It seems to be a continuation of the Christian Grey and Ana Steele (Dakota Johnson) walk from last night on Alexander Street.

Sequels Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed are expected to shoot in metro Vancouver for five months from mid- February to mid-July, with Fifty Shades Darker expected to film in Paris for a few days too.

The first film in the trilogy, Fifty Shades of Grey, grossed more than half a billion dollars worldwide on an estimated budget of $40 million. James Foley will direct the back-to-back productions based on scripts by Niall Leonard, husband to the erotic trilogy’s author E.L. James.
Filming started February 16th and is expected to wrap July 12th (dates subject to change) according to the Directors Guild of Canada-BC list. Production code is Further Adventures of Max & Banks 2 & 3.
Fifty Shades Darker will be in theatres on February 16, 2017 and Fifty Shades Freed opens a year later on February 9, 2018.
