A young man wakes from a 12-year coma to find he has supernatural powers that put him smack dab in the middle of a dangerous conspiracy. That’s the Freeform (formerly ABC Family) drama series Beyond starring Burkely Duffield as the awakened Holden. Jordan Calloway is his childhood BFF Kevin who’s now a therapist. Dilan Gwyn is Willa, a young woman who seems interested in Holden and warns him he’s in danger. Romey Rosemount is his mother, Diane; Michael McGrady is his father, Tom; and Jonathan Whitesell is his brother Luke.
Beyond filmed its pilot here last July.
From Adam Nussdorf, Tim Kring (Heroes), Zak Kadison, Justin Levy and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Beyond starts filming today in metro Vancouver and is expected to wrap July 14th (dates subject to change), according to the DGC-BC production list.
