A ham radio link across time allows father-and-daughter police detectives to speak as if death and 20 years did not separate them.
The CW ordered Supernatural show runner Jeremy Carver’s pilot Frequency to series today. In a re-imagining of the 2000 paranormal film Frequency — whose father-and-son police detectives were played by Dennis Quaid and Jim Caviezel — Peyton List is present-day police detective Raimy Sullivan and Riley Smith is former police detective Frank Sullivan, her estranged father who died in 1996.

The unlikely duo work together on an unsolved case. Lenny Jacobson is Raimy’s BFF and next door neighbour Gordo.
Frequency filmed its pilot in Vancouver. Will the series shoot here too?
