DC TV: Wentworth Miller Leaves DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW to Become THE FLASH/LEGENDS/ARROW/SUPERGIRL Regular

Did Leonard Snart die tonight? Or free up his character to appear on multiple shows?

Wentworth Miller will not be a series regular on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow next season, reports Deadline: Hollywood. Instead he will be a series regular with Warner Bros TV, appearing as Leonard Snart in some capacity on all four of its DC Comics TV shows, but mainly The Flash and Legends to start. This arrangement is possible because all four shows — Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl — will film in Vancouver next season. And also because death is not the end in a multi-universe with time travel.

Leonard Snart was introduced on The Flash as villain Captain Cold but evolved into a hero on Legends, sacrificing himself tonight in a battle with the Time Masters, after a goodbye kiss from the White Canary (Caity Lotz). Much of the action was filmed at Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Park with the iconic domed roof of the Bloedel Conservatory in the background.

Legends will cast new male and female regulars for next season on the Waverider and a new Big Bad, according to Deadline. Does this mean the end of Vandal Savage (Casper Crump)?

Wentworth Miller is currently reprising his role as Michael Scofield on the Prison Break revival filming in Vancouver.

The Legends season finale airs next Thursday, May 19th, on The CW in the United States and CTV in Canada.
