A woman’s imaginary friend helps her transition to life with a man with three kids.
In the ABC comedy, Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg) is Alice the bachelorette who turns to her imaginary friend Mary as her life changes. That was the pitch from The Goldbergs creator Adam F. Goldberg and David Guaracio for the new comedy series. A 30-something single woman with an imaginary friend meets her match in a divorced father (Stephen Schneider) with three kids. The childhood friend helps her make the transition from young single to a grown woman ready for a family. Imaginary Mary is computer-generated and voiced by Rachel Dratch in this live action/computer generated hybrid.
