Updated: With casting of Sarah Grey as Stargirl.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow turned the Main Mall on the University of British Columbia campus into New York circa 1942 this morning. Mick Rory in an army uniform (Dominic Purcell), Rip Hunter in a naval uniform (Arthur Darvill), Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) walked through a crowd of period backgrounders. Are they on the trail of the Justice Society of America?
In DC comic lore, the Justice Society of America’s initial headquarters in World War II was a New York City hotel suite.
The Justice Society in Legends: Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), Citizen Steel (Nick Zano), Obsidian (Lance Henrickson), Stargirl (Sarah Grey) and Dr. Mid-Nite.
Watch out for the Legion of Doom: Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Reverse Flash (Matt Letscher) and Damien Darhk (Neil McDonough).

Legends of Tomorrow season 2 premieres Thursday, October 13th, on The CW and CTV2.
Brandon looks like he could fill-in for a young Gary Cooper, and Caity Lotz was obviously born in the wrong era: she would have been perfect for the MGM roster of stars. (Of course they would have removed the tat on her left foot.)
Even Dominic Purcell fits, He looks like one of the tough guys who’ll stand up for what’s right.
