The Flashpoint in action. The Flash filmed some sequences for its season 3 premiere tonight in downtown Vancouver with a seemingly powerless Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), Kid Flash aka Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) and a Black-Suited Speedster (Todd Lasance).

What is Flashpoint? It’s a DC Comics storyline about Barry Allen waking up in a new timeline with no powers but his mother is alive. Which is what Barry did in The Flash’s season 2 finale. Distraught over the death of his father at the hands of Zoom, he went back in time to save his mother Nora from being killed by Reverse Flash and his father from prison.
What kind of changes will there be in this new timeline? Well from what fans witnessed tonight, Wally West is a speedster in this timeline, aka Kid Flash. And there’s a second as-yet-unknown black-suited speedster.
