Chris Haddock, the creative mind behind DaVinci’s Inquest and Intelligence, is back with a second season of Vancouver spy serial The Romeo Section, starring Andrew Airlie as spymaster Professor Wolfgang McGee. “It gets nasty,” Haddock says.
Juan Riedinger is Wolfgang’s former Romeo asset Rufus, who’s in deep with the Red Mountain Triad and finds himself becoming the newest player in Vancouver’s heroin market.
Jemmy Chen is double agent Lily Song climbing the ranks of the Canada’s Intelligence Service in Vancouver.
Eugene Lipinski, Fei Ren and Brian Markinson co-star.
David Frazee, who won a Leo Award last month for directing The Romeo Section’s Elephant Faces East, is directing the season two premiere.
“I’m not objective but The Romeo Section is a really cool-looking show,” Frazee told a VIFF Industry panel last year.
