A master-of-disguise female con artist Maddie (Inbar Lavi) seduces men and women into marrying her, gathers dirt on them and then takes off with their money. That’s Bravo’s My So-Called Wife which began filming its series on Monday in metro Vancouver, after shooting its pilot here late last year. But what happens when Maddie falls in love with her latest mark Ezra (Rob Heaps) who knows her as Ava and he teams up with another of her exes to track her down? Widower Patrick (Stephen Bishop) knows her as Saffron. Her latest mark, football star Richard (Parker Young), knows her as Alice. Co-written by Adam Brooks and Girlfirends’ Guide to Divorce’s Paul Adelstein, the new series was spotted filming in downtown Vancouver today at SFU’s Segal Graduate Business School turned into American Pacific Bank & Trust in Seattle.
