What happened to King Ben? In the sequel to the wildly popular fairy tale musical Disney’s Descendants — about the teenage children of classic Disney villains and heroes — Belle and the Beast’s son Ben (Mitchell Hope) looks “bad to the bone”. That’s King Ben on the right with Cruella’s son Carlos (Cameron Boyce), the Evil Queen’s daughter Evie (Sofia Carson), Maleficent’s daughter Mal (Dove Cameron), and Jafar’s son Jay (Booboo Stewart),. Directed and choreographed by Kenny Ortega (High School Musical), Descendants 2 began filming in Vamcouver on September 8th after weeks of rehearsals at the Bridge Studios. New villain Descendants include China Anne McClain as Uma, daughter of Ursula, Thomas Doherty as Harry, son of Captain Hook and Dylan Playfair (Some Assembly Required) as Gil, son of Gaston (Beauty and the Beast).
