Slip into Something a Shade Darker.
Seattle-billionaire-with-singular-tastes Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and the-girl-who-said-No Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) are back in Fifty Shades Darker which filmed in metro Vancouver earlier this year. A teaser for tomorrow’s official trailer showcases the second film’s set piece — the Grey family Masquerade Ball where Ana meets the older woman Elena Lincoln (Kim Basinger) — “Mrs. Robinson” — who seduced the 15-year-old Christian into the world of S&M.
Fifty Shades crew set off these Masquerade Ball fireworks in West Vancouver in February.
That’s the Big Bad of Fifty Shades Darker — Christian Grey nemesis and Ana’s Seattle Publishing boss Jack Hyde (Eric Johnson) — watchimg the ball from the other side of the cove.

The first film in the trilogy, Fifty Shades of Grey, grossed more than half a billion dollars worldwide on an estimated budget of $40 million. James Foley directed the back-to-back productions based on scripts by Niall Leonard, husband to the erotic trilogy’s author E.L. James.
Fifty Shades Darker will be in theatres on February 16, 2017.
