Looks like Deadpool 2 (Love Machine) won’t be filming in Vancouver this Winter after all. Director Tim Miller left the sequel Friday after what the Hollywood Reporter calls “creative differences” between the VFX whiz and star Ryan Reynolds, a rift that will likely delay the start of production here.

Miller played a large part in making the small-budget Deadpool a $786-million blockbuster, along with writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
But there’s no doubt Ryan Reynolds is the main reason for the Marvel movie’s success as The Merc With a Mouth on screen and off.
Earlier this week, Deadpool won best integrated campaign at the Clio Key Art Awards — deservedly so. And picked up a second for its emoji billboard.
Casting is underway for the character of Neena Thurman aka Domino with Ruby Rose, Mackenzie Davis, Lizzy Caplan, Kelly Rorbach, Eve Hewson, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Sienna Miller, Stephanie Sigman, Sylvia Hoeks and Sofia Boutella in the mix.
The working title for the sequel is Love Machine.
