Up-and-coming talent has to up-and-come from somewhere.
Remember when Miranda Sings (Colleen Ballinger) starred in a staged small-town parade in Port Coquitlam? Netflix released a trailer today for the upcoming eight-episode half-hour comedy Haters Back Off, based on the wildly popular youtube videos by Colleen Ballinger of her character Miranda Sings. Developed by Ballinger and her brother Chris, Miranda Sings is an overconfident but untalented and deluded young woman who succeeds simply because she believes she was born to be a celebrity.
One billion-plus youtube views.
