The next Casey Affleck movie? After his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live this Saturday and in the midst of his awards season campaigning, Casey Affleck will take time out in Vancouver to shoot survival drama Light of My Life. The Manchester By the Sea star wrote the script and will direct and co-star in a film about a father and his young daughter hunted in a post-pandemic world.
Already this awards season, Affleck has won the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actor for his Manchester By the Sea performance and is nominated for Golden Globe and SAG awards, with an Oscar nomination likely to come.

Production on Light of My Life is expected to start January 23rd in metro Vancouver.
