TRAILER: Musical Crossover Duet with THE FLASH’s Grant Gustin & SUPERGIRL’s Melissa Benoist as 1940s Nightclub Singers

How do Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) end up in a musical? The Music Meister (fellow Glee alumnus Darren Criss) whammies Supergirl, putting her in a coma. Mon-El (Chris Wood) and Hank Henshaw (David Harewood) bring her to Earth 1 seeking Team Flash’s help.

But the Music Mesiter surprises The Flash too, putting him in a coma as well.  Barry and Kara wake up without their powers in an “alternate reality where life  is like a musical and the only way to escape is by following the script, complete with singing and dancing, to the end.”

The Flash filmed most of its musical crossover in New Westminster’s former Columbia Famous Players Theatre as 1940s Moran’s Nightclub.

Production spent three days in  The Columbia as Moran’s Nightclub. Fans spotted The Flash’s Grant Gustin in a slick suit and Supergirl’s Melissa Benoist looking like Marvel’s Peggy Carter.

And one night filming exteriors on Front Street with Victor Garber, Jesse L. Martin and John Barrowman as rival mobsters.

Candice Patton is the fast-talking daughter of a mobster in this reality, modelled on Dick Tracy’s Breathless Mahoney.

The Flash’s muscial crossover Duet airs Tuesday, March 21st, on The CW.
