It’s time to change the way you think. Sometimes being different can make all the difference.

His mind is extraordinary.

New series The Good Doctor will air Mondays at 10 p.m. on ABC this Fall. What’s it about? Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore from Bates Motel) is a young, autistic medical savant who’s up for a job as surgeon at the San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. Not surprisingly, Murphy is brilliant at medicine but not great at relating to people. But he uses his extraordinary skills to save people and overcome the skepticism of his colleagues.

Colleagues:  Antonia Thomas as Dr. Claire Brown, Nicholas Gonzalez as Dr. Neal Melendez, Chuku Modu as Dr. Jared Kalu, Irene Keng as Dr. Sarah Chen, Beau Garrett as Jessica Preston, Hill Harper as Dr. Marcus Andrews and Richard Schiff as Dr. Aaron Glassman. The American adaption of a popular south Korean series, The Good Doctor is  produced by David Shore (House creator) and Daniel Dae Kim (Lost/Hawaii Five-O actor).

The Good Doctor turned Gate H of BC Place into the San Jose airport terminal.

The Good Doctor series is expected to film in Vancouver starting this summer, according to Production Weekly.
